I have to say just for the pictures this book is worth it. On a modeling and painting part the first demo is from pages 12 to 33, and thats just a medusa. Several of the following demos are on super heavies with very high detail, followed by 2 page spread of most of FWs selection of flyers and other interesting tanks with detail points on painting or modeling certain areas.
The demos are very in depth from converting tanks to using things like hairspray, airbrushs, weathering powders and several other mediums to weather or model damage on models. It also includes demos on how to model a very nice display and a couple of tables.
The only problems I have with the book is I had to get it from FW instead of GW. Gw really needs books like this in store. Also I would have liked to see more step by step on different models, but taking what is show on the step by steps and what is show in the bullet points you can easly see how to do other models. This book is all about advanced techniques and some basic knowledge is needed. Saying that my next purchase is going to be some oil paints and some weathering powder. _________________ This is my brush, there are many like it but this one is mine. |
