...is tomorrow! I'll see you there - if I don't already know you, I'm about 6'3, 6'4, decently big build, light brown hair, and I'm 18. I also enjoy puppies, rainy days...

I will be entering my Vampire Counts into Armies on Parade. I'll be the tall pseud-lanky? asian guy in black jeans and white-with-black-stripes dress shirt.

Arnold won the sword! Congrats, while I could critique many things about the composition of the battlescene, the paint job was amazing. _________________ My Cool Mini or Not Album

Thanks Andrew! I couldn't agree more about the composition thing, it was pretty brutal so I'm just surprised the judges overlooked that. I did intend to fill all that empty space with some other little nid creatures, like rippers and that sort of thing, and I wanted to have some more ammo crates and stuff lying around but I literally finished the scene at like 6 am on Saturday so I had no time. I just though "well its not really done but I'll enter it anyways, it'll get something," I just wasn't expecting a sword lol. So having said that, I think that rightfully it should have gone to Julien or Mathieu, whose overall works were far more professionally executed than mine. I suppose I am happy with this win but I guess my goal now is to work one improving the composition and presentation of my minis and to try to get a sword that I fully deserve |

Congrats again - I feel the same way about your composition but that paint was pretty darn sweet. Well done
Talking to the judges after here is how choosing you as slayer went - each judge was to put forward their favorite two for judging - EVERY judge picked yours as one of their two on the first round. Whether it was their individual first or second choice meant little as they suddenly realised that by concensus yours was the only one they immediately agreed upon as worthy.
Nice to make such a huge impression

Also nice to see somebody from Ontario (Well, not Quebec) take the sword.. Though admittedly I'm not sure where last years winner was from. _________________ My Cool Mini or Not Album

| Although Thierry Husser is from France, he lives on the south shore of Québec city. Congrats to everyone for their demon. I'm please with my results since 2 of my 3 entries made first cut(Yriel and Hellblade2; thanks Vincent for the inspiration) |
