Hello,
My name is Tyler Provick and I'm a painter/gamer from Ottawa. I generally switch between army painting and high-level painting. I'm also long on theory and short on practice as I jump from one technique to the other.
Most recently I won both the Golden Brush and Speed Painting competitions at http://www.gamesummit.ca in Ottawa. Unfortunately the event was under-represented without even a default word template certificate to show from it. Nice prizes, but I'm not sure if I won overall or best single miniature.
It's a growing event so I'll cut them some slack.

Working on a Necromunda Ratskin Renegade from GW. I was originally trying to learn two-brush blending but after making a mess of the face I've given up. Here's the progression so far from basecoat, shade and highlight. I'm having trouble keeping a consistent colour even though I'm using the same lights.
